Global to Local

Seattle is home to world-class health care but just a few miles from downtown there are communities facing health challenges comparable to developing countries in Africa. Through a unique partnership, Swedish is working with the Washington Global Health Alliance, Public Health-Seattle and King County and HealthPoint to address disparities in local healthcare through a groundbreaking initiative: Global to Local.

As part of this initiative, Global to Local will provide innovative, holistic and community-driven healthcare and economic development strategies to the residents of South King County. The goal is to uncover ways successful global health strategies can be applied to a wide range of people in our county, state and country.
